yamaha-dfp9500c-double-foot-pedal
Yamaha DFP9500C Double Foot Pedal

The Yamaha DFP9500C double bass drum pedal gives you two ways to shape the response under your feet: the connected feel of double chain drive or the included woven nylon belt option. If you are working on more controlled doubles, faster kick patterns or a setup that feels natural through a whole set, its beater angle, footboard angle and spring tension adjustments let you dial in the action around your playing.

Set the feel before you chase the speed

This is the double pedal version of Yamaha's FP9500C. Stabilizer bars cast into the pedal frames reduce flex and keep the bearings aligned for smooth movement. You can adjust the footboard and beater angles to suit your technique, then set the spring tension for the amount of resistance you want.

Two beater surfaces and a secure setup

The beaters have felt on one side and hard plastic on the other, giving you two contact surfaces to try against your bass drum head. The tear drop shaped beater hubs grip the shafts to help keep the beaters from rotating. A side adjustable hoop clamp accommodates different hoop thicknesses and tightens with a wing bolt.

Specifications and included equipment

Model: Yamaha DFP9500C

Type: Double bass drum pedal

Drive: Double chain with included woven nylon belt option

Adjustments: Beater angle, footboard angle and spring tension

Beaters: Felt and hard plastic contact surfaces

Frames: Cast stabilizer bars below the rocker shafts

Hoop attachment: Side adjustable clamp with wing bolt

Included case: Semi hard carrying case for the pedals, beaters and universal joints

Charleston showroom

Find this Yamaha double bass drum pedal at The Pied Piper of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia.
