A 57 Year Legacy Now Serving Central Ohio
The Pied Piper was founded in Huntington, West Virginia in 1967 by Chuck and Larry Levine. By 1991 Music Trades Magazine ranked The Pied Piper the third largest full-line music retailer in the United States. Five locations across West Virginia and Kentucky. A 15,000 square foot music mall. Built from scratch by two brothers who believed musicians deserved world class service and genuine expertise.
Chuck's daughter Amy Levine earned her JD and LLM in Business and Taxation at Capital University Law School in Columbus. She has called the New Albany area home ever since. When she brought The Pied Piper to New Albany she did not open a franchise or a chain. She brought nearly six decades of family knowledge, authorized dealer relationships, and genuine love for music to the community where she is raising her family.
