Amy Levine- attorney, daughter, legacy keeper.
Growing up, my office was a music store.
My father Chuck and my uncle Larry Levine built The Pied Piper from scratch in Huntington, West Virginia in 1967. I grew up in that store. By 1991, Music Trades Magazine ranked The Pied Piper the third largest full-line music retailer in the United States, with five locations across West Virginia and Kentucky, anchored by a 15,000-square-foot music mall. I watched my father and uncle build something extraordinary from nothing.
I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees at Marshall University in Huntington before moving to Columbus to attend Capital University Law School, where I earned my JD and my LLM in Business and Taxation. I opened my own law practice in Columbus in 2004 and have called the New Albany area home ever since. About ten years ago I moved my practice to New Albany, where it remains today. When my father passed sixteen years ago I made sure The Pied Piper in Charleston, West Virginia didn't close. It's still open today.
And then I brought The Pied Piper home to New Albany, to the community where I'm raising my family, and to the people here who deserve a music store built on nearly six decades of knowledge, care, and love for the craft.
We've had customers drive from Dublin, Westerville, Gahanna, Pickerington, Pataskala, Newark, Powell, Upper Arlington, Bexley, Granville, and Heath just to find out if we were the same Pied Piper they grew up going to in West Virginia.
We are.
