The Tone control handles the high end so you're not fighting harsh frequencies, and the Octave knob adds that classic 70s octave-up character when you want harmonic depth and synth-like thickness.

The SUN/SHADOW toggle gives you two distinct voicings: SUN is brighter and cuts through a loud mix, SHADOW is darker and sits underneath. True bypass keeps your signal clean when the pedal is off.
