Eleven Reverbs. One Pedal. Every Room You Have Ever Wanted to Play In.
The Electro-Harmonix Oceans 11 puts eleven distinct reverb algorithms on your pedalboard in a compact, straightforward package. Hall, Room, Spring, Plate, Reverse, Echo, Trem, Mod, Shimmer, Poly, and Dynamic. That covers everything from the classic spring reverb sound of a vintage amp to the shimmering, pitch-shifted ambience that ambient and post-rock players spend a lot of money chasing. It is all here in one box.
Each algorithm has its own character and responds differently to your playing. The Spring setting sounds like a real spring tank, with that slight drip and bounce that digital reverbs often get wrong. Shimmer adds an octave-up pitch shift to the reverb tail, which is the sound behind a lot of modern ambient and worship guitar tones. Poly uses polyphonic pitch shifting in the reverb for a lush, choir-like effect. Reverse flips the reverb tail so it swells in before the note rather than after. These are not just variations on the same algorithm with different names.
The controls are straightforward. Blend, Time, and Damping give you the core shaping tools, and each mode has secondary parameters accessible through the secondary knob. You can get deep into editing or just set it and play. Either way works.
