The Evans G2 Coated 16 inch tom batter drumhead is one of the most popular two ply drum heads for rack toms and floor toms. Two plies of 7mil film give it a balanced attack, a high level of consistency and durability, and a warm, focused tone that holds up under steady playing, which makes it a solid choice for rock, pop, R&B, and everything in between.

If your toms sound too ringy or you are replacing heads often, the G2 Coated is a dependable upgrade over a single ply drum head. The coated surface adds warmth, focus, and depth, works well with both sticks and brushes, and keeps overtones under control without added damping.

Like all Evans drumheads, it features Level 360 Technology for easier tuning and a wider pitch range, and it is made in the USA.
