The Big Baby is exactly what its name implies. It's a dreadnought, scaled down to 15/16 size, with a solid Sitka spruce top and enough voice to fill a room. It's not a student guitar dressed up with Taylor branding. It's a real, playable, giggable acoustic-electric that happens to be a little easier to carry around.

The solid spruce top responds the way solid tops do. More dynamic feel than laminate, opens up with age and play. The layered walnut back and sides keep it durable and stable through travel and humidity changes. That combination of solid top and layered body is smart engineering at this price point.

The ES-B electronics are practical. Built-in digital tuner in the preamp, volume and tone controls, straightforward to use. No hunting for a clip-on tuner before a set. For coffeehouse gigs, open mics, or rehearsals, it does exactly what you need it to do.
