If you need brushes for jazz, a quiet room or a softer feel on a ballad, the Heritage Brush is an easy place to start. It is a retractable wire brush with light gauge wire and a smooth rubber handle.

Light wire means fast sweeps and an easy feel without having to dig in. The wires pull back into the handle, so they stay straight in your stick bag between gigs. They also work well for alternative sounds on snare and toms when sticks are too much.
