If a full size acoustic feels like more guitar than you want to carry or settle onto the couch with, the Washburn G Mini 5 Apprentice gives you a smaller option. Its 7/8 size body is easy to work into everyday playing, whether you are learning a song at home, packing for a weekend away or bringing a guitar along for a campfire session.

A smaller body with clear notes

A select spruce top pairs with mahogany back and sides for a mellow sound with defined notes. That clarity is useful when you are picking out a melody or listening closely to each string in a new chord. The matte black finish and classic Washburn Heritage rosette keep the appearance simple.

Comfort for everyday practice

The mahogany neck has a natural matte finish for a smooth feel in your fretting hand. A Techwood fingerboard and bridge complete the playing surface and string support. The scaled down proportions make this a sensible guitar to try if you want a more compact instrument, but body size alone does not determine fit. If you are choosing for a younger player or buying a gift, ask us to help match the guitar to the person.
