The Washburn SH35TR gives you a semi hollow option in the Wing Series, with a maple body and two humbuckers voiced for that construction. If you want clear chord detail but still need some body behind a lead line, that combination is worth a listen.

A flame maple top sits over maple back and sides, giving the SH35 a bright, defined character with enough punch to keep rhythm parts present. The humbuckers are voiced to work with the resonance of the semi hollow body rather than simply treating it like another solid body guitar. The Trans Red finish rounds out the look.

Room for chords and lead work

For a clean passage, listen to how the notes separate when you let a chord ring. Add some drive and work with your amp settings to find the balance between bite and body. This is a useful direction to explore if your playing moves between chord accompaniment and melodic lines and you want a different response from your usual solid body.

The set neck construction and rosewood fingerboard complete the core specification. If neck feel is the deciding factor for you, contact us with what you currently play so we can help you compare before ordering.
