The Yamaha SS662 snare stand is built for drummers using a 12 inch or smaller snare who want compact hardware without extra bulk in the bag. Its lightweight design and three single braced legs make it a practical match for a small kit, a rehearsal setup or a rig you carry between gigs.

The right basket for a smaller snare

If your setup revolves around a smaller diameter snare, fit matters more than adding another oversized stand. The SS662 uses a three arm basket designed for 12 inch and smaller snare drums, with a basket adjustment knob to set the fit around your drum. Check your snare diameter before choosing this model, especially if you normally play a 14 inch snare.

Get your playing position sorted

An adjustable height range of 43 to 62 cm lets you position the drum around your seated setup. The standard tilter gives you angle adjustment so you can work toward a comfortable stick approach, whether you prefer the head flatter or slightly tilted.
