The Yamaha P45 88 key portable digital piano gives you a full piano keyboard with graded hammer action and sampled acoustic piano sound in a slim design. If you are working on touch, dynamics, and playing with both hands, it offers the familiar resistance of a piano keyboard without needing the space for an acoustic instrument.

A weighted keyboard that responds to your playing

Yamaha's GHS, or Graded Hammer Standard, action feels heavier in the bass and lighter in the treble, following the change in resistance you expect across an acoustic piano. The matte black key tops add a natural feel under your fingers. When you move from a quiet phrase into a stronger passage, that keyboard feel helps keep your attention on how you are playing, not just which notes you are hitting.

Sampled piano sound for everyday practice

Advanced Wave Memory stereo sampling uses digital recordings of real instruments to create the P45's piano sound, with grand piano reverberation that brings a sense of space to your playing. With 64 note polyphony, Dual Voice Mode, and Duo Mode, you have options for exploring sounds and sharing the keyboard as well as practicing your regular repertoire.

Simple controls and a compact footprint

Hold the GRAND PIANO/FUNCTION button and press the appropriate key to change sounds, play demonstration pieces, or configure the metronome and other settings. It is a straightforward approach that keeps the panel uncluttered when you want to sit down and play.

At less than 30 cm deep and weighing 11.5 kg with its speakers included, this portable digital piano takes up little room and can be moved between practice spaces or taken out for a performance. USB TO HOST connectivity and half damper pedal control round out its playing features.
