If you want a different accent voice without replacing the cymbals you already like, the Zildjian 8 inch FX Trashformer effects cymbal gives you two ways to change things up. Play it on its own for an explosive, airy splash, or stack it above or below another cymbal to add a trashy layer of white noise.

Its wavy profile is part of the design, not a conventional flat cymbal shape. For a drummer who likes experimenting with accents and stack textures, this is a compact way to bring another sound into the kit.
